Udupi: “The bathing bay of the Swarna river will be developed” – Minister

Udupi, October 7: Minister Sunil Kumar said the Swarna River Bathing Bay will be developed at a cost of one crore rupees within a year, as per the request of the MPP here, K Raghupati Bhat. He was speaking after offering Bagina to the river and offering a puja at Krishnangaraka Bathing Bay near Ganapati Temple, Sheembra, Manipal on Wednesday October 6th. ”

The minister said that our ancestors passed on the culture of worshiping rivers, mountains, etc. He said he prayed while offering Bagina to the river, that the river would have an abundant flow of water throughout the year, which should be sufficient for both humans and aquatic animals. The minister was accompanied by his wife, Priyanka.

Udupi K Raghupati Bhat MP, Sumitra Nayak Municipal President, Lakshmi Kola Vice President, Coastal Development Authority President Mattaru Ratnakar Hegde, Udupi Raghavendra Kini Urban Development Authority President, Deputy Commissioner, Mr. Kurma Rao, and others were present.

Social worker Vasudev Bhat Perampalli presented the program. Priest Naveen Shivattaya and District Religious Council Member Herga Hariprasad Bhat performed the Puja.
