Actress Soha Ali Khan, best known for her role in Rank of Basanti, goes through some Monday blues. And she takes advantage of a day at the beach to get by. Khan posted a photo on Instagram of herself in the water, with the city behind her. She wore a blue patterned one-piece swimsuit and sunglasses, and styled her dark hair in a ponytail. Khan has a child and she says she maintained her healthy lifestyle during her pregnancy. The actress revealed in an interview with NDTV Food that she made sure to exercise and eat healthy during her pregnancy, and encourages others to do the same. “Pregnancy requires a lot of energy in addition to staying active, so I’ve made sure to practice yoga and practice mindful snacking throughout. For mothers-to-be – my advice is – make sure to include healthy nutrient-dense foods such as fruits, dairy products, nuts like almonds, which provide energy and add a host of nutrients like protein, iron, vitamin E, folic acid, zinc, copper, etc. which will help your overall health. And make sure you stay hydrated!”

As for snacks, Khan tells NDTV Food that she has no objections. However, she says she prefers healthy snacking options and cites almonds as her favorite. “It’s fine to snack all day, but as long as it’s on healthy, nutritious foods. energy and have satiating properties that promote feelings of fullness, which further helps keep my hunger at bay.Also, almonds are easy to flavor and can be mixed with all Indian spices and can be eaten throughout during the day, making it a good choice for snacking without worrying about weight gain.”

Khan explained what she typically eats in a day to NDTV Food. She says she keeps her three meals as healthy as possible. “For breakfast, I usually eat Dosa or omelet with fresh fruit and gluten-free toast with honey. For lunch, I like to eat chicken or fish with dal, vegetables and rice brown or roti. I end the day on a light note and usually have a salad with lots of vegetables, almonds and herbs drizzled with a citrus vinaigrette.”

When it comes to food, Khan says she doesn’t believe in fad diets or limiting herself too much. She says she only focuses on healthy eating and works out regularly. “I’m not an avid dieter,” she told NDTV Food. “I generally practice a healthy diet and include lots of nutritious foods in my diet, as well as daily exercise.”

When it comes to working out, Khan doesn’t always have to hit the gym. She loves working out at home and her routine is no joke. khan posted this video on instagram showing her followers what her typical full body workout routine looks like at home. In the video, she is seen doing squats with weights, stanchions to sit-ups, and going under a clothesline with a reach and weights. She captioned the video, “Try it on Tuesday.”
