New London Specs Showroom – an exciting place to work and meet

Victoria + Albert at House of Rohl’s new showroom in London

Focus / 21 at the Design Center, Chelsea Harbor is one of the key elements of the annual London Design Festival. A week of seminars, exhibitions and events that attract interior designers and architects from the UK and beyond. One of the most publicized events this year was the launch of a new specification showroom for kitchen and bathroom products, under the House of Rohl banner.

The House of Rohl is the last name of a group of brands including Victoria + Albert Baths, Perrin & Rowe English Brassware, fireclay sinks maker Shaws of Darwen and Canadian brassware designer Riobel. The new exhibition space presents the four brands together, as a mixture. For example, displays match modern faucets by Riobel with sculptural freestanding tubs by Victoria + Albert, and drop-in faucets by Perrin & Rowe with Butler sinks by Shaws.

The showroom is an inspiring space for planning bathroom and kitchen projects, and the showroom team welcomes designers who wish to use it for themselves.

Jessica Shimwell, Showroom Manager and Events Coordinator, explains: “We have dedicated meeting space, ideal for reviewing projects with clients, and a large screen suitable for presentations in small or large groups. We encourage design practices to use the showroom for training or offsite meetings. With so many people in our industry working from home, we want to provide a more stimulating environment to plan projects, with expertise on tap – and great coffee, too! “

The House of Rohl showroom can be visited without an appointment. Its opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. (closed Saturdays and Sundays). To use the showroom facilities, contact Jessica Shimwell on +44 (0) 207 351 4378. More details on
