In an interview with Charm, Leigh-Anne revealed that she maintains a meat-free diet. “I just went vegan and for me it makes me eat so much healthier – it’s just vegetables all the time, so let’s see how long I can last,” she said. “Vegan diets tend to reduce the risk of heart disease by helping to lower LDL, HDL and non-LDL cholesterol,” said a plant-based nutritionist. Long trains Leigh-Ann three times a week and incorporates three elements into each workout: Pilates, barre and bodyweight conditioning. She also takes lessons. “I love the classes on legs, butt and stomach,” Leigh-Anne told Glamour.
Before going vegan, Leigh-Anne revealed that she had a takeaway meal when she wanted to lose weight. “I tried to follow a plan – my coach put together a ‘things to eat on which day’ and [I had] to keep everything in a tupperware and then every day I [could] some things, but it takes so long. It’s long. We tend to eat chicken and vegetables when we’re trying to be healthy,” she said. Cosmopolitan.
Leigh-Anne likes to train a different body part each workout, telling Cosmopolitan: “It depends on what type of body part you really want to tone – I focus on my legs and abs. That’s fine. to do another [body part] every time you go to the gym; focus on the legs, focus on the arms, focus on the abs.”
