Like Gwyneth Paltrow, Kourtney is trying new cleanses. “So I’m doing this Ayurvedic cleansing right now,” she said. Hustle in a recent interview. “It’s called Panchakarma. You can’t eat anything cold, you can’t drink anything cold. It’s for 12 days. No sex. No workout. It’s crazy.” The practice supposedly balances energy to promote health. “It actually made everything better,” she said. “Like, if you can’t have caffeine, when you have your first matcha, it’s so good.”
Kourtney revealed to Harper’s Bazaar that she maintains a predominantly plant-based diet. “I have been on a health and wellness journey for the past 13 years which has made me very aware of what I am putting into my body and my children’s bodies. I am not entirely vegan, but Travis helped me stay on a mostly plant-based diet, which is so much easier on Daring,” she said, promoting a meal-alternative brand.
In a video shared on Poo, Kourtney has revealed her tip for healthy eating out. “When I go to a restaurant…if I’m really trying to be good, the hardest part is ordering food,” she explained. She always tries to keep one thing in mind when ordering. “Once it comes, you’re going to be happy with it. Even if you order vegetable soup, it’s still going to taste good once it comes. Obviously, you’d rather order the fries and a burger, but it’s pretty much doing the wise command, and once it comes, you’ll be fine.”
Kourtney revealed to Byrdie that water is her secret to losing weight. “Whenever I notice I feel bloated or need to step up [my body] or something like that, it’s always because I don’t drink enough water. When I step up the water, I’ll instantly lose about two pounds in a day,” she said. “Half the time when you’re hungry, you’re really thirsty. I eat constantly throughout the day, so I’m not saying don’t eat and just drink water, but I do notice that I eat less simply because the water fills me up.”
Kourtney drinks a glass of olive oil (one tablespoon) every other day, explaining on Poo that extra virgin olive oil “may improve overall brain health through memory- and mood-boosting antioxidants” and “may boost immunity and fight infections using monounsaturated fats (aka healthy fats in EVOO) and antioxidants”.
