Singer and actress Demi Lovato is vacationing with some of their best friends. They recently posted some highlights on their Instagram story. Lovato has amazing skin. They work with esthetician Renee Rouleau to help their skin stay beautiful. Rouleau revealed some of the singer’s skincare tips for POPSugar. She says she asks Lovato to cleanse her skin as often as possible. “Good makeup removal is a double cleanse,” she said. “I’m going to have them use the Vitamin Infused Emulsion Cleanser. A water-based cleanser is going to wash off really easily, but it won’t catch makeup with it. You need something creamy to really dissolve that makeup .”
When it comes to Lovato’s skincare products, they don’t like changing them. Rouleau tells POPSugar that the singer is committed to the products and the advice she gives them. “Demi is super loyal to using what I tell them. They don’t get swayed by what their friends tell them. They really understand that she needs to use products that are right for their skin type and they’re very committed to working with their beautician and following the plan.”

Lovato is open about their struggles with body image and an eating disorder. They talked about beauty standards and dietary culture in society. In an Instagram post, Lovato revealed that they were starting to find a balance. They wrote, “I no longer count calories. I no longer overexercise. I no longer limit or purge. And most importantly, I don’t live my life based on diet culture.”
Lovato is open about her past of drug and alcohol addiction. They had initially gotten sober at age 19. In early 2021, they announced they would try a “California Sober” approach, i.e. using marijuana. However, at the end of the year, they decided to get completely sober again. “I can’t stand my ‘sober Californian’ ways anymore,” they wrote on Instagram. “Sobriety is the only way to be.”
