She was fired by Lord Alan Sugar six weeks into the current series of The Apprentice, but Amy Anzel is in winning form after dropping five stone.
Amy, who was ‘fired’ by Lord Sugar from the long-running BBC business competition after a tourist challenge in North Wales, has decided to lose weight after being diagnosed with two health conditions after the birth of her son Jacob, who is now five years old.
And she says she “barely recognizes herself” after losing weight before appearing on the show.

“I’ve had so many messages since I shared my weight loss story, so I thought I’d post a little more about how I gained and lost 70 pounds,” he said. she said on her Instagram. with before and after photos side by side.
“Looking at these photos side by side, I barely recognize myself in the before photo and I’m so proud of how far we’ve come!”
She explained: “After giving birth to Jacob, I was diagnosed with two conditions, hypothyroidism, a condition in which your thyroid does not produce enough hormones – and an autoimmune disease related to the thyroid called thyroiditis. from Hashimoto – where the immune system makes antibodies that attack the thyroid and so it becomes underactive and causes weight gain.”
She continued: “After years of struggling and despite being told by doctors that it was something I had to live with (because both of these conditions make it extremely difficult for someone to successfully lose weight), I decided enough was enough, and knowing I was in the running for @BBCApprentice, I decided 2021 would be the year – and I finally did it!”
Amy says that with the right medications, monitoring by doctors, a diet and exercise regimen suited to her conditions, she was able to lose the weight she gained during and after pregnancy and is now healthy. back to 10 stones.
“It was HARD and some days I felt like I would never get where I wanted to be, but in 4/5 months I managed to reach my goal!” she says.
“I started strength training several times a week, and rain or shine, I ALWAYS made sure to get 10,000 steps a day, no excuses… I completely overhauled my diet and made many changes to my lifestyle along the way.
“There is no general rule that works for absolutely everyone, and with my conditions, that made the process much more difficult.”
Amy, who runs Hollywood Browzer Beauty, a beauty tools brand specializing in dermaplaning, hair removal and exfoliation tools, said she’s now happy to share tips with her followers.
