Davies performed in the UK tour of Bring it on, which is a musical inspired by the popular film series. In order to perform on the show, Davies had to learn how to do cheerleading moves, and some of them are pretty serious. Davies posted this video on instagram tell people about the show.
Davies is a workout enthusiast and she even has her own workout and wellness site, StrongNotSkinny.com. She spoke about the program in an interview with FEMALEsaying, “I’ve always loved dancing and combining fun routines with weight training and shorter but more intense workouts seems like the perfect mix.”
In 2017, Davies went through a very public breakup. In order to cope, she says she turned to exercise to feel better. She said FEMALE“After I broke up, I’m going through all the normal things – I’m upset, anxious, angry and getting nervous – All the things any normal girl would go through. I thought of the best way to take my mind off things and I focus on myself is to start working out and i couldn’t believe how unfit i was and then we came up with the idea to help other girls going through breakups or wanting to get back together get fit or lose weight – something that’s not too hard.”
Davies spoke about his approach to wellness with FEMAIL. She says when it comes to her diet, she tries to eat healthy, but she also believes in balance and moderation. “I’m not saying you shouldn’t have Chinese takeout on a Saturday night, because it’s fine in moderation,” she said.
Davies revealed to FEMAIL that she no longer drinks alcohol and it has had a positive impact on her life. “Quitting alcohol was probably one of the best things I’ve done for my mindset. First, you feel ‘bad’ the next day. I wouldn’t dream of going to the gym when I hangover. Secondly, it’s a bit of a depressant and I was counting on it to take my mind off things.”
