Duffy
« on: February 13, 2010, 10:07:29 AM »
Hi Everyone,

Sorry I have not been on here for almost a year now...times have been hectic, worrying and very exspensive. Juggling new job and Duffy has been a challenge to say the least, howver did not forget you guys...everyone at work knows about this site..a collegue at work who works part time at the citizens advice bureau even recommends this site to her clients...so I have been still active on your behalf...so I hope i am forgiven.

Update on Duffy is : she has had Pyrometra and had to have an emergency hysterectomy..the vet said she was one lucky girl...she also is having tests done for Hip displaysia!!!! I fear the worst with this as Duffy shows such obvious symptoms...her behaviour is trying at times but she is our baby and we understand she did not have the best start in life. Duffy has not grown much in height and even our vet has said her head is so tiny for a Boxer. Our vet has come to the conclusion that Duffy is not full Boxer and is more likely to be a cross breed. On top of this vet also believes Duffy suffers from a human form of ADHD..(believe me guys I can understand what he is getting at) she is full of beans constant..All this and she has only just turned 2 !!

I did pursue with the bailiffs, however as I did not have a house number they could not pursue it further..so I am at stalemate right now...so far we are £2500 down..not to be detered I will find Ms Hayward one day and will slap her with a nice big bill!!!! as well as a piece of my mind. If I can get the house number I can instruct an order on her house which she owns and if she sells I will get my money...would love to see her face if that happened.

Hope you are all ok...and I will be checking in more often...promise

Bertie & Duffy

Aww Duffy what a time you have had I can sympathise to some extent as Tobi has just had a major op to remove discs from his neck which were causing partial paralysis (he is recovering well).  Poor Duffy (doggy) but I can't feel too sorry for him as he has the best home possible with humans who will love him whatever.
Good to hear from you again and huggles to you all. :bighuh:

If you could find a Homeopathic vet they could give Duffy something for ADHD and help with other problems as well.

hi
new to site, don't know your full story, but is the person Stacey Hayward? only a friend of mine bought a Westie pup from her the later part of last year, pup was very very sick, vet advised she take it back to breeder, which she did, ( i didn't know about this till after the event) vet stated the pup would not make it, as his stomach had not fully formed properly? think that is what it was? anyway  i can get details of where she lives if you need them. my friend is now looking on Many Tears rescue for a puppy. they were so shocked that this goes on! i have fully enlightened them.

Your friend needs to report the sick pup to trading standards in Stacey's area and also licensing officer. It would also be very useful if she did a piece for local paper to warn other people?
